Boss Morris - Documentary

In 2017 I wrote and directed a short film about an all female Morris dancing group (that’s a type of English folk dance for the uninitiated.) Since filming, the national association of Morris dancers passed a historic vote to finally grant membership to female dancers.

Women Who Eat On Tubes

Back in the day, my flatmate and I got pissed off about a voyeuristic facebook group posting photos of women eating on the tube without their consent.

So we organised a mass picnic on the circle line in protest - because women can eat wherever the fuck they want. The protest was covered by VICE, the Guardian and numerous news outlets across the world.

Sledgehammer

In 2018 I brought together my passions for music and film to co-found a music video screening night called SLEDGEHAMMER.
Since then we’ve put on regular nights in London and Amsterdam, featuring guest interviews with legendary directors like Daniel Kleinman, Dawn Shadforth and Ninian Doff.

Google - Prototype

Agency: 72andSunny Amsterdam

I worked on the Google account across various products for 2 years while at 72. Of course, none of it got made. Chuh. It happens. But I had a lot of fun along the way.

Here’s one of my favourite prototypes, for a brief about the joy of searching. Music written and performed by yours truly.

Visit Britain X Etihad Airways

While at Mr President, I devised a series of content films for a partnership between Visit Britain and Etihad airways. Selfishly, this involved travelling across the UK meeting up-and-coming chefs and showing off the best that British food has to offer.

Directed by Matt Roberts

Universal Channel

Universal wanted a series of short spots for TV and social that explored the idea of 100% character. We searched hundreds of local news stories to find people across the UK who had achieved extraordinary feats, including computer scientist Sue Black OBE and amputee Man City footballer Jamie.

Plan International - Platform

Agency: Mr President

Write a global rallying call empowering teenage girls to fight for their rights? Go on then. Coming up with the line ‘Girls Get Equal’ felt pretty good too.

Working with the charity Plan was an incredible experience, and hearing the stories of young women fighting for equality in some of the toughest parts of the world was a privilege I’ll never forget.
